When we were young and innocent, we were all oblivious about the world and as we grow in different branches, we were being guided by different voices.
It can come from the voice of our parents telling us words of wisdom. Our parents who constantly remind us that we may be a little caterpillar cloaked with insecurities and mottled scars for now but at the perfect time we will evolve and become a butterfly;
Voice that can come from our teachers who feeds us knowledge about algebra, geometry, literature, the real world and the list goes on;
Voice of our friends who never gets tired of telling stories about how they cope up with their life problems and how it can help us;
It may also be the voices of strangers we met on the streets who randomly give us pieces of advice to give us hope when we’re on the end of a cliff thinking about this world full of shattered dreams.
Voice is a powerful tool that each person has. On the positive side, with voice, people can make a person happy, excited, and motivated. Moreover, it can also give people hope, inspiration and realizations. With voice, people can freely tell different life lessons that can be a huge help to another person.
Additionally, in some cases, some people lend their voice to people who cannot speak up for themselves; this is another good thing about using one's voice – you can be a help to someone. A voice is so powerful that it can either be a sword or a shield depending on how it’s use. Therefore, using your voice is a vital tool that makes this world a better and brighter place thus we must use our voice in the right way.
In our generation, one of the most influential way to use our voice is doing voice acting. Voice acting is a world filled with hope. Literally, voice acting is the art of providing voices to represent a character or to provide information to an audience.
Voice acting is perfect for connecting with people or with our community. It is one of the most effective ways to use one’s voice for a good cause. Voice acting is an art that can be painted by anyone who have stories to tell or a community to help.
There are two kinds of people in the world of voice acting: The voice talent and the voice artists. Voice talents are people who do voice acting for money and on the other hand, voice artists are people who do voice acting because of their passion, purpose and mission - and I prefer to be a voice talent.
There are quite a few things that voice acting requires; vivid and colorful thoughts, creativity, craziness, mental toughness and on top of that, energy, volume, and clarity are also a requirement.
Starting as a voice artist is quite simple, you just need to remember a few things such as: have a proper speaking voice, can read clearly, must know how to follow instructions and the most important thing is that your willing to invest in T.E.A.M. which stands for Time, Energy, Ability and Money.
Voice acting is magic. Magic that creates Interaction with the listeners. Magic that gives listeners hope, love and inspiration. It’s magical because you can be a help to someone by using your voice – you can turn their sorrow into hope. It’s more magical because with voice acting, anyone can be a magician.
